PARKINSON'S AQUA THERAPY CLASS
Osher Marin JCC, 200 North San Pedro Road, San Rafael
As you know, exercise helps alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. This 6-week Aqua-based class is held in shallow water in our 90-degree indoor therapeutic pool, letting participants enjoy moving again in a safe and supportive environment. We will jog, dance, box, play tennis, and golf in the water to increase strength and endurance and improve stiffness—$255.
Instructor Jocelyn Freid has over 25 years of experience helping people regain and maintain normal body movement, coordination, function, and balance through hydrotherapy and aquatic fitness classes. She earned her Master's as a Health Educator and Exercise Physiologist and is a certified Delay Disease Instructor for Parkinson's Exercise Program.
